The Midwest City Planning Commission shall also serve as the Airport Zoning Committee. Such committee shall have the authority to hear, review and approve changes to the Airport Zoning Ordinance as adopted.

SUBDIVISION REGULATIONS AND ZONING ORDINANCE UPDATE TASK FORCE COMMITTEE
This committee was created to guide the updating process for the Subdivision Regulations and Zoning Ordinance. Their primary focus is to forward recommendations to the Council regarding updates to these two sets of regulations. It is comprised of 4 members. Members to be comprise of one member from council, one member from Planning Commission, one member from the Builders Advisory Board and at large appointment such as a local developer. It meets on an on-call basis as needed.

TRAFFIC AND SAFETY COMMISSION

TRAILS ADVISORY COMMITTEE
This committee was created to make recommendations regarding the Midwest City Trail System. A primary task is to guide the development of the Trails Master Plan. Recommendations will be forwarded to the Council regarding the master trail plan. The Committee is made up of 4 members. The Committee will be comprised of an appointment from the City Council, an appointment from the Planning Commission, an appointment from the Sidewalk Committee, and an appointment from the Parks and Recreation Board.
