Traffic & Safety Commission:
The commission meets the last Thursday of the month on an as needed basis. The commission coordinates the transportation activites of the City. Activities such as regulating the placement of stop signs, traffic-control devices, speed limits and zones, and is a recommending body to the City Council.
Floodplain Board:
The board meets as needed when there is business to conduct. The board shall hear and render judgment on requests for variances from the Floodplain requirements. Variances may be issued for the repair or rehabilitation of historic structures upon a determination that the proposed repair or rehabilitation will not preclude the structure's contined designation as a historic structure and the variance is the minimum necessary to preserve the historic character and design of the structure.
