METER READER – City Clerk – Records water consumption by reading meters. Processes daily work orders to connect and disconnect services, verifies readings, and checks for apparent leaks. Must be able to walk approximately six miles daily in the elements, and to bend and lift meter lids. Hours 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday. Occasional overtime required. HS diploma or GED required. Must obtain and maintain Class D Water Certification from the Oklahoma Department of Environmental Quality within the first year. Must possess a valid Oklahoma driver’s license and be insurable. Salary $24,000 per year with benefits. Applications accepted until filled.

CONCESSIONAIRE – Adult Softball Complex – Oversees concession stand, prepares and serves food to spectators, prepares daily reports and money for deposits. Keeps concession stand clean and organized. Must be at least 16 years of age. Previous concessionaire experience preferred, but not required. Temporary/seasonal position. 15 – 25 hours per week. Salary $7.25 per hour with no benefits. EQUIPMENT OPERATOR I – Street – Operates equipment such as trucks, tractors, and mowers, and uses a variety of power and hand tools in maintaining City streets, culverts, right-of-way, storm sewers and other public property. Must possess a HS diploma or GED. Previous experience with street and mowing equipment, including tractor, mower, and backhoe is desired. Must possess a valid Oklahoma driver’s license and be insurable. Must obtain Oklahoma Commercial Class B with airbrakes within six months of employment. Salary $24,000 per year with benefits. COMMUNICATION SPECIALIST I – Emergency Operations Center – Operates 800 MHz radio system, teletype, E911 telephone, and PBX telephone system. Receives, analyzes, and dispatches messages to units of Police, Fire, and Ambulance departments. Monitors burglar and fire alarms. HS diploma required with previous experience in the operation of a two-way radio, teletype machine, and computer terminal with OLETS certification preferred. Must successfully pass a data entry test with a minimum of 5500 keystrokes her hour and pass an in-depth background check, polygraph, hearing test, and drug screen. Must be able to attend OLETS training and Basic Telecommunications training and pass the required tests within a specified time frame. Salary $31,914 per year with benefits. GATE MANAGER – Parks and Rec – Collects gate fees for daily softball games, prepares daily reports and money for deposits, and related duties. Knowledge of general softball procedures and understanding and reading schedules. Must be at least 16 years of age. Previous experience handling money preferred. Temporary position, 15 – 25 hours per week. Salary $7.25 per hour with no benefits. Applications accepted until filled.

OFFICE MANAGER – PWA –Supervises the clerical pool within Public Works Administration. Performs administrative duties for PWA and various supervisors. HS diploma or equivalent required. Previous responsible secretarial and supervisory experience required. Associates degree in Office Administration or equivalent preferred. Must pass Word, Excel, and clerical tests, and typing test with 60-70 wpm. Salary $29,012 per year with benefits. Applications accepted until filled.

NETWORK AND PHONE SYSTEMS ADMINISTRATOR – I.T. – Critical system support including hardware and software installation, procurement, troubleshooting, and repair. On call 24-7 and must carry a cell phone with internet access. High school graduate with CCNA and MCSE certifications or equivalent experience. Bachelor’s degree in MIS, Computer Science, or related field required.  Previous experience required. Starting salary range: $38,616 - $42,574 per year with benefits. COMPUTER TECHNICIAN – I.T. - Performs functions related to computer system support including computer hardware & software installation, troubleshooting, & repair. Subject to evening & weekend work as needed. H.S. graduate with A+ certification or equivalent experience required. Technical Associate’s degree or Bachelor's degree in M.I.S., Computer Science, or related field is preferred. Previous experience is required.
