FIFTH GRADE FIRE SAFETY
ABOUT THE LESSON:
The fifth grade fire safety science program teaches students about reality of fire versus television, the fire tetrahedron, home hazards, cooking hazards, burn prevention and extinguishing techniques. We also incorporate learning activities, video, and a fire safety game.
OBJECTIVE:
Students will be able to identify common fire hazards around the house and learn how to prevent these fires from occurring. Students will create a fire tetrahedron, and review what was learned by answering trivia questions about fire safety.
