The Renaissance Run Committee was created by an act of the City Council in 2005. The purpose of the Renaissance Run Committee is to perform all of the necessary and appropriate duties and obligations to carry out and affect the Renaissance Run each year. Also to determine each year how much of the proceeds from the Renaissance Run is to be recommended in grants and to whom. The Renaissance run Committee is comprised of residents of or employed within the corporate limits of the City of Midwest City.
