The Reno Swim & Slide is open and is boasting an exciting new addition – a poolside climbing wall!
“The climbing wall is similar to a rock-climbing wall with some easy areas and some hard areas,” Gilles said. “I think will be a real asset to the Swim & Slide. Both kids and adults are going to love it.”
Gilles says the wall, which is angled at 12 feet high by 15 feet wide, does not require a harness and meant to scaled by one person at time.
“If you fall off the wall, you’ll just splash into the deep end of the pool,” Gilles said. “So, if you can swim in the deep end of the pool, you can try out our climbing wall!”
Residents may purchase individual season passes for $30 at the Reno Swim & Slide. There are no family passes.
Regular daily admission prices are: $6 for ages 6-54, $3 for ages five and under, and $3 for people 55 and over. Reno Swim & Slide will be open Monday through Saturday, 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., and Sundays from 1:00 to 8:00 p.m. New holiday hours are 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
