Save-A-Life Smoke Detector Program
You may qualify for a free smoke detector if you meet the following guidelines:
*You are a home owner, living in Midwest City; and
*You do not have a working smoke detector, or the detector is over 10 yrs old;
and you are:
(1) over the age of 60;
(2) classified as disabled;
(3) living on a fixed income (such as Social Security); or
(4) a single parent with small children.

Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM
We will also replace batteries for those who cannot afford one, or are not physically able to change their own.
*We do not provide smoke detectors for in-home day care facilities.
