The parks department has announced that repairs and renovations to the Memory Lane section of the trails system will begin in late January and will take approximately 2 – 4 weeks.
Vaughn Sullivan, Community Services Director said the repairs are to replace the original asphalt with concrete and improve the drainage. The effected section of the trails includes from Reno Ave. south ¼ mile to the Soccer Complex. The trails will remain open during the renovation.
Sullivan added that this renovation is part of staffs efforts to improve the quality of our recreational facilities and is being funded with dedicated parks improvement sales tax.
