Tinker Air Force Base, Eastern Oklahoma County Tourism Council and Aerospace America will co-host the tenth annual Star Spangled Salute.

Re-enactment of Pearl Harbor, Red Eagle Demo Team, US Navy Harrier and FA-18 Super Hornet, USAF Wings of Blue Parachute Team, USAF Reserves Jet Car race a P-51 jet and much more. Be sure not to miss our "Twilight on the Tarmac" evening show with lots of pyro, bombing, and mock explosions! Ground entertainment will include USAF Honor Guard, USAF Tops In Blue, Chalk Artist Richard Hight, 2007 Miss America Lauren Nelson, Static Displays, Pilot Autographs, and a Children's Zone. The Midwest City Optimist Club, the Midwest City Parks and Recreation Department, and the Oklahoma Wildlife Department will be hosting its annual fishing clinic.
Registration is from 8:20am-9:00am and the clinic
will be from 9am until noon.
Clinic is open to boys and girls ages 6-15.
The clinic will teach the children how to cast, knot tying,
outdoor ethics and much more.
Bring your own poles, or a limited amount of poles
will be available for use.

Joe B. Barnes Regional Park is transformed into a twinkling winter wonderland of lights featuring
80 dazzling displays including the majestic 118 foot Christmas tree
illuminated with 9,000 bulbs. Hearts of all ages will be warmed while
experiencing the glow of the season in this marvelous production of holiday
lights. From I-40 exit Douglas Blvd and follow the snowflakes to the entrance and wind
through the South's largest animated light collection from the comfort of
your family vehicle or indulge in a romantic horse drawn carriage ride to
delight your loved ones. Open the Friday before Thanksgiving through December
