The Midwest City Tree Board was created by an act of the City Council in 1980. The board is comprised of citizens appointed by the Council, assisted by representatives of the Street Department. The Tree Board exists to advise the Council on it public tree program. The Tree Board meets on the second Tuesday of the month in January, April, July and October at the Midwest City Public Works Conference Room (8730 S.E. 15th Street).
