Rain checks are issued when sale is "terminated during the first day of the sale because of inclement weather conditions." A Garage Sale Rain Check Permit is for a sale at the same location within 30 days of the date the first sale was to be held.
Garage Sale Criteria
You will need to have an active account with the City of Midwest City.
You can have two Garage Sale permits per calendar year (January-December) per account
Garage sale permits are always issued under the account holder's name
If there is no evident relationship between the account holder and the applicant for the Garage Sale, (i.e. renter living in the house under the owner's name) then the applicant will need to have permission from the owner. You will need to make sure the owner knows the license will be in their name, and not in the name of the renter.
