The Community Development Department is a team of dedicated professionals who serve to promote the development of Midwest City as a desirable place to live, work and invest. Our planners, engineers, technicians, and administrative support personnel serve both the current and future residents of Midwest City.   9. Storm Shelter Registration

    Midwest City residents who have a storm shelter on their property are asked to register the shelter by completing a form that is sent or delivered to the Community Development Department at City Hall.

    In 2003, the City of Midwest City, acting with and through the Midwest City Memorial Hospital Authority, a public trust, partnered with Sooner Investment Company to redevelop this highly visible tract of land.
