2019 Veterans Day Parade - Canceled Due to Weather

Midwest City Veterans Day Parade, Where Patriotism Lives
Vet Day Parade
After much monitoring of Monday's weather, it is with great sadness we must let you know the Veterans Day Parade has been canceled. It's going to be too cold and too windy for the high school bands and ROTC to participate, too windy for the big flag, and too cold for the young children to come as spectators. Please know this was an incredibly difficult decision for those who have spent months planning this wonderful event.

Special thanks to our Grand Marshal Major Ed Pulido, US Army (Ret.). Major Pulido hit a roadside bomb in 2004 while serving with the Coalition Military Assistance Training Team. Due to the excessive injuries to his left knee, doctors had to amputate his leg. For his heroism and valor, he was awarded the Bronze Star with Valor, Purpose Heart, Meritorious Service Medal, and Joint Service Commendation and Achievement Medals.
