Restore Midwest City

Restore Midwest City is an city-wide initiative that was created in 2012 for the purpose of purchasing and outfitting a trailer, known as the Green Machine, that is available for volunteer groups to use in assisting citizens with their home repairs. The trailer is equipped with battery powered lawn mowers, hedge trimmers and other lawn care equipment.

The Restore Midwest City is an initiative between the City of Midwest City, churches, civic groups, businesses and volunteer organizations.  The groups provide yard clean-up services to Midwest City residents who are not able to provide these tasks for themselves or just need a little assistance.

The Restore Midwest City initiative provides resources, some tools, and manpower from many volunteer organizations who are set on making a lasting difference in Midwest City.

If you or your organization would like to get involved in this worthwhile project of helping out your neighbor, or if you just want more information on the program, please contact the Neighborhood Services Department at 405-739-1002.
