The Midwest City compost facility, located at 7420 N.E. 36th Street is accepting yard waste material, such as:
- Grass clippings
- Leaves
- Green waste
- Brush
- Woody material
Size restrictions on wood material
The length of woody material must not exceed eight feet and the diameter must not exceed 20 inches. If you bring grass, leaves and green waste to the facility in plastic bags, you will need to remove it from the bag. We can accept paper yard waste bags.
Proof of residency
Bring your most recent Midwest City utility bill and current driver’s license as proof of residency.

Open Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday from 8 a.m. – 3 p.m., no appointment necessary.
Closed on holidays.
Compost for sale
The compost facility sells compost to the public. It is an excellent soil amendment, with high nitrogen content. It will not burn plants and is a great dressing for yards.
Cost: $20 per cubic yard, which includes free loading at the facility
Delivery cost: $100 within 25 square mile radius
The compost (comprised of co-mingled bio-solids and yard waste) is available during the following hours:
Monday - Saturday: 8 a.m. – 3 p.m.
