The City of Midwest City is encouraging residents to utilize the curbside pick-up and delivery services from local restaurants and to continue to practice social distancing guidelines in commercial establishments.
“At this time, the City of Midwest City is not under any state or federal directive to close restaurants or other commercial establishments,” said City Manager Tim Lyon. “We continue to urge the use of social distancing, and for residents who aren’t comfortable dining in, we encourage the use of take-out and delivery options at local restaurants.”
Lyon also suggests that healthy people shop later in the day to allow the early morning hours for the elderly and those with serious health conditions.
