Holiday Lights Spectacular will be open through Christmas night (December 25) in Joe B. Barnes Regional Park at 8700 E. Reno Avenue from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 6 p.m. to 11 p.m. Friday and Saturday evenings. (Free with donations accepted.)
Did you know Holiday Lights Spectacular began in 1995 with just 44 displays? Over the years it has grown to be the largest animated lights display in a five state region! The 1.5 mile long drive has over one million lights. The 118-foot Christmas tree is illuminated with over 9,000 LED bulbs. Watch for the tunnel of lights, Santa fly fishing in a 15 foot waterfall, and elves baking in a candy factory.
Thursday, December 5 is the rescheduled date for the Walk the Lights event at Joe B. Barnes Regional Park. The drive through Holiday Lights Spectacular will be closed for this one evening for the safety of the walking event.
Friday, December 6 is the Holiday Open House at the Welcome Center from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The Welcome Center is located at 7200 SE 29th St. Come have a cup of complimentary coffee and a cookie while you shop the gift shop.
You’ll find unique Oklahoma-themed ornaments, gifts and souvenirs, Made in Oklahoma food items, Bedre chocolate, jellies, salsas and honey. The gift store also has candles, cutting boards, coasters and toys!
Saturday, December 14 is Cookies with Kringle! Join us in the Charles J. Johnson Central Park at Town Center Plaza from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
We'll have live music, complimentary gift wrapping, arts and crafts, hot chocolate, and cookies. Don't forget to bring your camera for photos with Kris Kringle himself!
