Overview
The function of the Urban Renewal Authority is the rehabilitation, conservation or redevelopment, or a combination thereof, of blighted areas in the City as is necessary in the interest of the public health, safety, morals and welfare of the residents of such areas and the City at large.
Authority members are appointed by the Mayor, approved by the City Council, and serve three year terms.
