The new Animal Services Center, built with voter-approved 2018 G.O. Bond funds, is at 8485 E. Reno Ave. Find us just north of Happy Tails Dog Park and Joe B. Barnes Regional Park. Here are our new hours:

- Wednesday: 10a - 1p
- Thursday: 10a - 4p
- Friday: 10a - 4p
- Saturday: 12p - 4p
- Sunday: CLOSED

Midwest City Animal Welfare is focused on encouraging responsible pet ownership by promoting and protecting the health, safety and welfare of the residents and pets of Midwest city through education, enforcement and community partnership.
To report an animal-related issue or concern, call the Animal shelter at 405-739-1400.
If you are experiencing an emergency, call 911.
Animal Control Officers respond to the following:
- Stray/loose animals
- Animal bites and quarantine requirements
- Animal cruelty and neglect investigations
- Deceased animal pickup - this does not include your personal pets.
- Noise complaints
- Wildlife concerns
Be ready to provide a detailed description of the problem, including the species, breed, color, and size of the animal, as well as an address or specific location where the violation is taking place.
All reports received by phone or online are assigned priority levels based on the nature and severity of each call. Officers will respond to the highest priority calls first. Officer response times vary based on the number of active calls and their corresponding priority levels.
ADOPTIONS
All animals are spayed or neutered prior to adoption. The adoption fees are:
- $90 for Dogs
- $70 for Cats

DONATIONS
Midwest City Animal Welfare is always accepting donations for the following items: towels, blankets, cat litter, pet food, dish soap, fabric softener and laundry detergent, pet toys, treats, cleaning supplies, and pet beds.
VOLUNTEERS
Do you want to make a difference in animals' lives? Do you need a regular furry-friend fix? Become a volunteer at Midwest City Animal Welfare. Volunteer opportunities will include all or some of the following tasks: bathing and walking dogs, grooming animals, adoption and community events, socializing pets, training dogs.
