The Midwest City Senior Center is a safe place of fun, community, and life shared with others. We offer programs, classes, events and activities for individuals age 55 and older who have a common interest in fellowship, leisure pursuits and mutual respect for one another.  See our monthly activities calendar below in the Supporting Documents.

The Center encourages your involvement, ideas and input. 

The Midwest City Senior Center offers daily lunches Monday through Friday. Participants must be 60 or older and registration for the program is required. All participants are asked to check in at the desk inside the dining room with our volunteer to receive their lunch token, and then we ask that all participants be seated by 11:15 AM.  The lunch program is provided through the Oklahoma County Senior Nutrition Program.  The program asks for a $2.00 donation for each meal.  Our daily menu is below in Supporting Documents: 

Holidays

The Senior Center follows the Mid-Del school calendar during inclement weather. If Mid-Del Schools are closed, the Center will also be closed. If they are closed and doing virtual learning because of the weather then we will be closed that day as well.

The Center will also be closed for the following holidays:

  • New Year’s Day
  • Memorial Day
  • Independence Day
  • Labor Day
  • Thanksgiving Day
  • Friday after Thanksgiving
  • Christmas Eve
  • Christmas Day
