We only accept applications and resumes when we have a vacancy. All vacancies are posted on the "Jobs" page of our website at www.midwestcityok.org/jobs and on the bulletin board outside the Human Resources Department.
Yes, you can. However, you will need to fill out an application for each position in which you are interested and qualified because they will be sent to different Supervisors for review. The online application portal makes it very easy to apply for multiple positions once you have created your login and completed an application. You simply need to click into a job that you wish to apply for, log in to your application portal, review you application for any necessary changes, and submit.
You may apply; some of our entry level positions do not require a high school diploma, however, many of our full-time positions do require a high school diploma or GED equivalent and a copy of your transcript, diploma or GED will be requested if you are selected for one of those position. Please refer to the education section of the specific job posting you are interested in for the requirements of that position.
The requested demographic information is used for EEO (Equal Employment Opportunity) purposes only, in case of an audit or complaint. This information is pulled from your application before it is sent to the interviewing department. The information is logged in the Human Resources computer system and is filed in the Human Resources Department.
First you will need to complete an application for the position with the Human Resources Department. This can be done online by clicking into the desired position at www.midwestcityok.org/jobs If selected to move forward in the process, you will be required to complete two tests; you must pass both parts of the testing in order to proceed in the process, which includes a thorough background check, polygraph and physical.
There is no set time frame. We will post on our website and the bulletin board outside the Human Resources Department when we are accepting applications for these positions.
