Governor Stitt Announces Action Steps to Flatten the Curve
At his November 16th press conference, Governor Stitt announced action steps to flatten the curve in our state.
His priorities are:
- Protect the health and lives of Oklahomans
- Keep businesses open safely
- Get all kids safely in school by January
Stating Thursday, November 19 the following action steps will be implemented:
- Require restaurants to space tables 6 feet apart. For booths and other seating that cannot be spaced out, dividers must be installed between seating areas.
- Bars and restaurants must close nightly at 11 p.m. No in-person service of food or alcohol will be allowed after 11 p.m. except for curbside or drive-thru windows.
- Masks required for state employees and visitors to wear masks in common areas and near their co-workers in state buildings starting Tuesday, November 17.
The Governor encourages all Oklahomans to:
- Wear a mask
- Wash your hands
- Watch your distance
