At his November 16th press conference, Governor Stitt announced action steps to flatten the curve in our state.

His priorities are:

  • Protect the health and lives of Oklahomans
  • Keep businesses open safely
  • Get all kids safely in school by January

Stating Thursday, November 19 the following action steps will be implemented:

  • Require restaurants to space tables 6 feet apart. For booths and other seating that cannot be spaced out, dividers must be installed between seating areas.
  • Bars and restaurants must close nightly at 11 p.m. No in-person service of food or alcohol will be allowed after 11 p.m. except for curbside or drive-thru windows.
  • Masks required for state employees and visitors to wear masks in common areas and near their co-workers in state buildings starting Tuesday, November 17.

The Governor encourages all Oklahomans to:

  • Wear a mask
  • Wash your hands
  • Watch your distance
