New Year's Eve and New Year's Day Holiday Schedule

The City of Midwest City's administrative offices will be open Monday, December 31 but closed Tuesday, January 1 in observance of the New Year's holiday.

TRASH AND RECYCLING PICK UP
Sanitation Services will be picking up trash and B-week recycling on the normal schedule on Monday, December 31. We will NOT be picking up trash and B-week recycling on Tuesday, January 1 as our crews will be observing the New Year's holiday. Residents who would normally receive trash and recycling pick up next Tuesday will receive their service on Wednesday, January 2.

TRANSFER STATION AND COMPOST FACILITIES
Both the Transfer Station and the Compost facilities will be closed on Saturday, December 29 and will reopen on Saturday, January 5.

If you have any questions about the trash and/or recycling services or the Transfer Station,  you can call Public Works at 732-1063. The Transfer Station is located at 8730 SE 15th St. For information about the Compost facility, call 732-1533. The Compost facility is located at 7420 NE 36th St.

ANIMAL SHELTER
The Midwest City Animal Shelter will be closed Tuesday, January 1 in observance of the New Year's holiday. (The Shelter will be open normal hours of 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on New Year' Eve, December 31.) For more information about the Animal Shelter, you can call 427-6640. The Shelter is located at 7221 NE 36th St.
