Midwest City Hosts All-Industry Hiring Event
MIDWEST CITY, OK – The Midwest City Chamber of Commerce, Convention & Visitors Bureau (CVB) and the City of Midwest City, have teamed up to bring an exciting employment opportunity to our community! On Thursday, August 26, representatives from various industries will fill the Nick Harroz Community Center for a 6-hour (9 a.m. - 3 p.m.) hiring event. This event is designed to give participating businesses an opportunity to meet and greet job seekers, interview qualified applicants and even hire applicants on-site.
Individuals looking for new job opportunities should come prepared with copies of their resume and/or CV (including job history, references, and other applicable personal information). Applicants will be provided space to complete job applications and any necessary documentation. Areas within the hiring event will be made available for employers to meet one-on-one with qualified candidates.
Parking is free and will be available at the Nick Harroz Community Center. Other public parking options are also available within walking distance.

Due to the surge in COVID-19 cases in central Oklahoma, face coverings and social distancing will be encouraged for all participants of this event. Event staff will have a supply of masks, hand sanitizer and wipes available for use by the participants.
