CITY SERVICES AND CLOSURES

Animal Welfare:

  • Animal Services Center will be OPEN during regular hours Friday.
  • Staff responding to emergency calls only.

Midwest City Senior Center:

  • CLOSED Friday, March 11, 2022.

Municipal Court:

  • OPEN Friday, March 11, 2022.

Nick Harroz Community Center:

  • OPEN Friday, March 11, 2022

Police Department:

  • Slushy road conditions. Drive slowly and take your time.
  • If you get stuck on a city street, stay in your vehicle. Call a tow service, family members or friends for assistance. 

Street Conditions:

  • Public Works street crews having been treating all arterial (major) streets in Midwest City. Intersections and bridges especially have been a focus of their efforts.
  • For everyone's safety, please adhere to these simple rules when you see our crews working in Midwest City:
    •  Stay at least 100 feet (5 car lengths) behind our trucks as they salt, sand and plow.
    •  Try not to pass our trucks as they work.
    •  If your vehicle is stuck on a city street, do not stand in the street to flag down a vehicle for assistance. City snow plows or trucks cannot stop to provide assistance. It's safer for you to stay in your vehicle and call a tow service, family members or friends for assistance.

Trash & Recycling Collection:

  • Midwest City trash services are operating as scheduled on Friday. 
  • Republic recycling services has suspended their schedule for Friday pickup. Residents on the Friday route should leave their recycling at the curb and Republic will pick it up Saturday, March 12. Any missed service after Saturday needs to be communicated to Public Works Administration, (405) 739-1066, on Monday. 

Utility Customer Service:

  • OPEN for customers on Friday, March 11, at the City Hall payment window, 100 N. Midwest Blvd.
  • REMINDER: You can pay your bill online by hitting the PAYMENTS button at MidwestCityOK.org.
