2024 Elections

On April 2, 2024, Midwest City voters went to the polls to decide runoff elections in Wards 3 and 4. According to Oklahoma State Election Board results, Rita Maxwell received 62.45% of the 695 votes cast in the race for the Ward 3 City Council seat. Marc Thompson received 52.68% of the 503 votes cast in the race for the Ward 4 City Council seat.

Wards 2 and 6 did not require a runoff election this year as Councilmember Pat Byrne filed unopposed for the Ward 2 seat and Councilmember Rick Favors was re-elected in February's primary for the Ward 6 seat.

A Special City Council meeting will be held in early April so each of the Councilmembers can be sworn in. The date and time for that meeting will be posted soon on the Meetings page at midwestcityok.org.

Ward 2 Councilmember

• Pat Byrne - (Unopposed)

Ward 3 Councilmember 

• (Runoff Election, Unexpired Term)
• Rita Maxwell - 62.45% (434 Votes)
• Jeff Moore - 37.55% (261 Votes)

Ward 4 Councilmember

• Marc Thompson - 52.68% (265 Votes)
• Nicholas Timme - 47.32% (238 Votes)

Ward 6 Councilmember

• William Bridges - 18.89% (61 Votes)
• Rick Favors - 81.11% (262 Votes)
