Building Permits and Inspections Division
The Building Division provides for professional support, guidance, and assistance directly or indirectly involved with building or altering the built environment of the community to ensure the safe and lawful use of buildings. Our goal is to promote safe, quality living and working conditions through the effective implementation and maintenance of ordinance and policies, and the efficient use of available resources in every aspect for the citizens of Midwest City.
The Engineering Division provides support to Community Development by way of reviewing all new public infrastructure as proposed by developers. This includes new water, sanitary sewer, and stormwater improvements as required by our code. In addition, the Engineering Division manages capital improvement projects such as major road resurfacing, trail projects, and miscellaneous community improvement projects.
