Fences

If you are erecting a new fence, a permit is required. If you are replacing the fence material (replacing chain-link with stockade) or moving an existing fence, a permit is required. If you are replacing a fence product with a like product, a permit is not required.

The maximum height for fences in residential areas is 8 ft. Fences beyond the front building line may not exceed 4 ft. in height. Please call 405-739-1223, with any questions regarding the placement of a fence.
