Grumpy Bird StoryWalk® - Metropolitan Library System
STORYWALK®
Enjoy the outdoors! Go on a StoryWalk®! In partnership with Midwest City Parks and Recreation we invite families to StoryWalk® at Kiwanis Park. StoryWalk® is an innovative and delightful way for children — and adults! — to enjoy reading and the outdoors at the same time. Laminated pages from a children's book are attached to small sign frames, which are posted along an outdoor path. Families are invited to stop by the Midwest City Library after completing the STORYWALK® and pick up a related take home activity kit.
(The StoryWalk® Project was created by Anne Ferguson of Montpelier, VT and developed in collaboration with the Kellogg-Hubbard Library. Storywalk® is a registered service mark owned by Ms. Ferguson.)
