Pool Rules

  • You must be 16 years old to enter the pool without supervision. Children under 16 must be accompanied by a responsible person 16 years or older. Maximum of 4 swimmers with each 16-year-old.
  • No smoking or vaping
  • No weapons
  • ONLY clear or mesh bags are allowed inside of Reno Swim & Slide (No backpacks, purses, canvas bags, athletic bags, etc.)
  • Do not distract lifeguards. Pay attention to whistle.
  • Showers must be taken before entering pool.
  • Proper swimwear is required. No gym shorts, cut-offs, thongs, G-string bikinis or small, barely-there swimwear.
  • No running, pushing, or wrestling in dressing room or pool area.
  • Pool users who are disorderly in and around the pool will be banned from the pool for the remainder of the season.
  • No swimming or playing on pool ladders or lifelines.
  • Do not flip, jump or dive backwards from the edge of the pool.
  • Only one person permitted on diving board at a time.
  • Divers will wait until the area is clear before diving.
  • Dive straight off the end of the board - not off the sides.
  • Only one bounce is permitted on diving boards.
  • After a dive, clear out of the diving area.
  • Do not leave personal belongings in the dressing room. We are not responsible for loss of personal property.
  • Outside food or drink prohibited.
  • Glass containers prohibited.
  • Alcoholic beverages and drugs prohibited.
  • Persons with open wounds or bandages not allowed in pool.
  • All persons entering the pool complex must check in.
  • Snorkels, fins and training fins are not allowed.
  • Water wings, floats, life jackets, beach balls, goggles and pool toys are allowed.
  • Those who arrive with a life jacket must wear it at all times.
  • No flotation devices can be used on the diving board or slides.
  • Lifeguards will determine swimming abilities for those using the deep/diving area of the pool.
  • Swim diapers must be worn by children who are not potty-trained.
  • Children under five are not allowed in main pool without a responsible person age 16 or older, maximum of two children watched at a time.
