Midwest City Police Explorer Post Competition

Join us for the 3rd Annual Midwest City Police Explorer/Cadet Competition! Teams will complete in 6 police scenarios, which will cover common police calls as well as high-stress critical police responses.

Competition is Saturday, August 10th, 2024. Competition briefing starts at 9:00 am, at the Midwest City Police/Fire Training Center in Midwest City. This event will cover: Active Shooter Response, Felony Traffic Stop, Domestic Violence Response, Burglary Investigation, Shoot/Don't Shoot Simulator, and an Obstacle Course Relay Race.

Trophies will be awarded to the top 3 performing teams for each scenario. 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place trophies will be awarded to the top 3 teams with the most overall points for the entire competition. Registration paperwork, waivers, and registration fees are due by August 5th, at midnight.

Event is limited to 6 total teams, with no more than 2 teams per Explorer Post being able to participate. Team size can vary between 2-4 individuals. Each team must be accompanied by at least one of their Explorer Post's Advisors throughout the entire competition.

Registration fee ($200) per team: Covers Explorer Team + Advisor and catered lunch.
