Water Resources Recovery Facility (WRRF)

Goals
The primary goals and objectives of the WRRF is to contain, treat, and release back into the environment wastewater that does not harm the aquatic life downstream from the facility.
Capacity
The Wastewater Treatment Plant treats domestic and industrial wastewater to the secondary treatment level by use of Moving Bed Bio Reactor (MBBR). The plant was designed to treat 12 million gallons per day (MGD), with a daily average follow of 10.8 MGD.

This facility and staff have won several statewide awards and recognition, along with an EPA Maintenance and Operation Award.
